Human trafficking is the trade of human beings, most commonly for the purpose of sexual slavery, forced labour or the extraction of tissue and organs.

There are even some reports that some trafficking groups are switching their cargo from drugs to human beings , in search for high profits and low risk. 

 

600,000 - 800,000 men, women and children are trafficked across international borders every year. Approximately 80% are women and girls, 50% are minors. 

1.2 Million children are trafficked every year.

Human trafficking is the fastest growing means by which humans are enslaved and the fastest growing international crime. 

Human Trafficking is the second largest source of illegal income worldwide exceeded only by drugs.
