"Helping Hand for Phillipines"

Typhoon Haiyan struck Phillipines this weekend. This tragic event destroyed thousands of homes and thousands of people. Estimates say millions have been displaced with no water, food or shelter. We are going to help, are you?

This friday we will have a giant version of the Filipino Flag which will be blank.

We will ask all of you to donate at least $20 (but you can give more if you would like) to paint your hand and make the flag out of painted hands.

We are calling this work 'KGV offering a helping hand to the people of Philipines.'

We want to raise lots of money to help so please join and give what you can.

If you are not in KGV and would still like to help click HERE to donate.

Running To Stop The Traffick

On the 23rd - 24th of November is the 24 Hour Stop the Traffic Run at the Peak. 32 senior students will be running around the Peak for 24 hours to raise money and awareness about human trafficking of children in Nepal. A donation box will be set up in the foyer if you would like to support them or you can sponsor individual runners.

An extra added to running to stop the Traffic is that Ms Beer and Ms Coulton will be running around Angkor Wat in Cambodia for charity. Members of the charity committee will be visiting your tutor group soon looking donations as we support this amazing effort.

If you are not in KGV and would still like to help click HERE to sponsor them.
